The Kia K2500 is a one-tonne workhorse that Kia South Africa launched in December 2013 as an alternative to the K2700, and it is still sold new here. It has a 2.5-litre four-cylinder turbodiesel making 96 kW and 255 N.m, driving the rear wheels through a six-speed manual, and it has a single wheel on each side of the rear axle and a 1 000 kg payload rating. Kia South Africa lists it as a Workhorse Dropside, a Dropside with aircon and a Tipper. We supply engines, gearboxes, clutch kits, leaf spring sets, load beds and cab panels, subject to donor supply.
